Amar Hishab-Kitab is a transformative digital financial literacy app I developed for Bank Asia during my tenure at Kompass Technologies Ltd. The app aims to enhance financial literacy and expand banking service access across Bangladesh through an extensive agent banking network.
Available in Bengali, the app targets financially underserved populations to improve their financial health through education and practical tools. It bridges the gap between banking services and the mass market.
Problem & Solution
A significant portion of Bangladesh's population lacks financial literacy and easy access to banking services. Amar Hishab-Kitab addresses this by providing a Bengali-language interface with interactive financial education, personal finance management, and a map-based agent banking locator — making banking approachable for everyone.
